Akuapem South Stakeholders Applaud Completion Of Inherited Projects

Stakeholders in the Akuapem South Municipality have lauded the government's efforts to continue and complete developmental projects initiated by the previous administration.
They say the move demonstrates that governance is a continuous process that should transcend political transitions, while ensuring that public investments are protected and completed for the benefit of residents.
Citi News checks in the municipality indicate that 11 out of about 15 stalled projects inherited by the current administration have been completed and handed over to various communities for use.
The completed projects include the Social Welfare and Disability Centre, educational infrastructure, a banking hall and other community development initiatives aimed at improving access to essential public services and supporting local economic growth.
Stakeholders made the observations during the Akuapem South Municipal Assembly's Mid-Year Joint Stakeholder Review Workshop on the implementation of the 2026 Annual Action Plan and Composite Budget.
