GMet Struggles With Unpaid GCAA Obligations – Sukparu

The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, GCAA, is yet to clear outstanding payments owed to the Ghana Meteorological Agency, GMet, Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations Mohammed Adams Sukparu has disclosed.

According to Mr Sukparu, the unpaid obligations are putting pressure on GMet's operations and could affect the agency's ability to deliver critical weather and climate services needed for aviation safety and national development.

Speaking on Breakfast Daily on Channel One TV, he said several interventions and follow-ups by government officials and Members of Parliament have so far failed to resolve the matter.
