Outrage grows over USS Lincoln conditions, Trump denies reports

The USS Abraham Lincoln has spent a record 260 days deployed at sea. They were due to return home in May 2026 but the deployment was extended after the U.S. launched its military operations against Iran in late February.

Media reports have found worsening conditions on board, several service member deaths, and flagging morale.

Sailor's family members and lawmakers have criticized the White House for the conditions and long deployment, while President Trump has called the report fake news.
