KNUST Hostel Owners Reject Rent Control Over Student Accommodation Fees

The KNUST Hostel Owners Association is pushing back strongly against moves to control hostel fees, insisting that their facilities do not operate under conventional landlord-tenant arrangements.

The association says any attempt to impose blanket rent controls could threaten accommodation for thousands of students.
