BOST Under Pressure as Tanker Drivers Declare 3-Day Sit-Down Strike

Members of the Ghana National Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union have declared a three-day sit-down strike over the deteriorating condition of the yard where they park their trucks near the Kumasi Depot.
The drivers accuse the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST) of failing to rehabilitate the facility, raising concerns about their safety, particularly during periods of rainfall.
Chairman of the Ghana National Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union, Dominic Brenya, says the drivers will only call off the strike once their concerns are addressed.
