Dome-Kwabenya Residents Hit Streets Over Neglected Road

Hundreds of residents from Dome-Kwabenya, Comet, Berekuso, Agyementi and Kitase have taken to the streets in a peaceful demonstration demanding the immediate rehabilitation and completion of the Dome-Kwabenya–Berekuso–Kitase Road.
Organised by the Dome-Kwabenya, Kitase Road Stakeholders Committee, the demonstration seeks to draw urgent attention to the worsening condition of the road and the difficulties it continues to create for residents, commuters, transport operators and businesses.
The demonstrators say they have exhausted available channels of engagement and were left with no option but to take their concerns to the streets.
