“We Totally Disagree!” – UGMC Responds to Michael Blackson | #EyewitnessNews

Dr. Baffour Gyan strongly rejects claims that UGMC misdiagnosed the patient, provided poor care or prioritised money over treatment.

He says Michael Blackson's mother arrived at the hospital with an infection and multiple serious medical conditions and spent eight weeks receiving treatment.

Dr. Gyan also defended UGMC's billing system, explaining that patients are treated first and billed afterward, which can result in a significant cumulative bill over an extended hospital stay.

UGMC says it is willing to undergo an independent investigation and has records relating to the case.
