The Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly has intensified monitoring of the distribution of support items to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the municipality.
The move is aimed at ensuring that support provided to PWDs reaches the intended beneficiaries and contributes meaningfully to improving their livelihoods and independence.
Authorities say closer monitoring will also help promote transparency and accountability in the distribution process.
