Fire caused by overheated power bank destroys parts of Accra Newtown building

A fire believed to have been caused by an overheated power bank left on charge has destroyed parts of a chamber and hall in a four-storey building at Accra Newtown.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has since brought the fire under control, with no casualties recorded.
