'We Paid and Never Used It' - Boakye on AKSA's 16% Utilisation

Executive Director of the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP), Ben Boakye, reveals just how underused the AKSA power plant was despite Ghana's costly contractual obligations.

"For the first five years that the plant existed in Ghana, it was utilised 16% of the contracted capacity. So in most cases, we just paid and never used the plant." - Ben Boakye
