NEW DOC: ‘American Doctor’ exposes 'the actual facts’ of what’s happening inside Gaza’s hospitals

A new documentary film, “American Doctor,” takes us inside Gaza's hospitals with three U.S. physicians: Dr. Mark Perlmutter, Dr. Thaer Ahmad, and Dr. Feroze Sidhwa. Dr. Perlmutter said they participated in the project in order to “promulgate the truth” and “advance the actual facts coming out of what our American tax dollars were doing.” Dr. Ahmad says doctors in Gaza face immensely difficult situations when waves of injured people come in. “You have to sit there and make this decision of, who are you going to try to resuscitate… it's something that caused a significant amount of moral injury for all of us, but I would caution and say Palestinian doctors have been making those decisions every day for almost three years.”
