NPP Savannah Polls: 25 Aspirants to Contest Regional Executive Positions

The Electoral Commission in the Savannah Region says it is fully prepared to supervise the upcoming New Patriotic Party regional executive elections.
Savannah Regional EC Director Anthony Nyame says the Commission has taken delivery of all electoral materials, which are currently secured at the police armoury ahead of the polls.
The EC says it will work closely with arrangements and guidelines put in place by the NPP to ensure a smooth and credible electoral process.
A total of 25 aspirants are contesting various positions, while about 80 security personnel are expected to be deployed to maintain security at the venue.
