CTVET Appeals for More Funding to Improve Practical Training

The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, CTVET, has appealed to government to allocate adequate resources to support practical training in technical and vocational institutions across Ghana.

Deputy Director-General of CTVET, Abdul-Rahaman Zakaria, says adequate funding is critical to providing students with the practical skills needed to make TVET training effective.

Speaking at the DTI Annual Exhibition Show in Accra, he welcomed government's free TVET policy but stressed the need for increased investment in practical training infrastructure, equipment and other resources.
