Mahama Summons TDC, TMA Officials Over Tema Development Dispute

President John Dramani Mahama has summoned the Managing Director of TDC Company Limited, Courage Nunekpeku, the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, Ebi Bright, the Minister for Local Government and the Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources to a meeting over a dispute surrounding an ongoing development project at Community One Site Three in Tema.
The meeting, scheduled for Monday, August 17, 2026, is expected to address the standoff between TDC and the Tema Metropolitan Assembly over the ongoing development and infilling project.
The dispute has raised concerns over the development and use of public spaces in the community.
The meeting is expected to give the stakeholders an opportunity to clarify their positions, address concerns and determine the way forward.
