Ukraine drone attack hits Russia’s Ust-Luga energy hub

Friday's drone attack on the Ust-Luga port in Russia's Leningrad region marks at least the sixth time this year that the critical energy hub has been targeted.

Ust-Luga is Russia's largest Baltic Sea energy hub and a vital pipeline and shipping terminal for crude oil and petroleum products. Ukraine says its strikes are cutting into the multimillion-dollar export revenues Moscow uses to fund its war economy.

The latest strike triggered a fire at the port, which regional officials said was quickly extinguished. No casualties were reported.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says Russia is not prepared to stop hostilities along the current combat line because its war goals have not yet been achieved.
