Israeli settlers pray as they besiege a Palestinian village

Israeli settlers have trapped Palestinian families inside their homes in the occupied West Bank village of Qusra, cutting off access to water and electricity and blocking residents from entering or leaving.

Video released on August 10 shows settlers holding prayers outside one of the homes, joined by several men wearing Israeli military uniforms.

The UN says around 15 Palestinians, including two children, have been trapped in their homes “in a state of terror” and without access to basic needs.

On August 13, the Israeli military said it has deployed additional troops and is taking disciplinary action against any personnel involved.
