Ashanti Health Director Raises Alarm Over Staff, Equipment and Infrastructure Shortages

Ashanti Regional Health Director Dr. Fred Adomako Boateng has raised concerns over inadequate staffing, shortages of essential medical equipment and limited health infrastructure in parts of the region.
Speaking during a meeting with the Deputy Health Minister, he said these challenges, alongside high maternal mortality, teenage pregnancy and low family planning coverage, are putting pressure on health facilities and affecting healthcare delivery.
The Ashanti Regional Health Directorate is calling attention to these challenges as efforts continue to improve healthcare delivery across the region.
