A staff member at the University of Ghana Hospital says patients are being turned away as the ongoing doctors' strike disrupts healthcare delivery at the facility.
The staff member, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the hospital's main gate was locked on Wednesday morning, preventing patients from accessing the Outpatient Department (OPD).
Patients were reportedly informed that doctors were on strike.
The development comes as the ongoing industrial action by doctors continues to affect healthcare delivery.
