Bolgatanga Airport To Be Completed By 2028 – President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama says government is committed to completing the Bolgatanga Airport by 2028.

Speaking during a working visit to the project site, the President said the airport, which is designed to handle about 100,000 passengers, will support passenger travel as well as the transportation of goods.

He said the facility could also facilitate the movement of gold from mining areas in the Upper East Region, as government works to drive development and economic activity in the region.

The project is expected to form part of new development initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and connectivity in the Upper East Region.
