Traditional leadership in Kasoa on Wednesday boycotted a planned sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the government's 24-Hour Economy Market.
The traditional leaders cited what they described as disrespect from the MCE for Awutu Senya East, Seth Banini, as the reason for their decision to stay away from the ceremony.
The boycott has raised concerns over relations between the traditional authorities and the Municipal Chief Executive as government moves ahead with the market project.
