MP Fires Back at Minority Over ‘Unnecessary’ Parliament Recall Claim

The Member of Parliament for Sissala East, Mohammed Issah Bataglia, has criticised the Minority Caucus for describing the Speaker's decision to recall Parliament from recess as unnecessary and a waste of taxpayers' money.
The Business Committee member says the NPP Caucus has no moral standing to make such claims, recalling allegations that the party, while in government, facilitated the arrival of individuals on private jets to support the passage of the Electronic Levy.
Mr. Bataglia has accused the Minority of hypocrisy and urged its members to engage in self-introspection before criticising government decisions on Parliament.
