Black Queens Payments: Sports Minister Kofi Adams Says Team Has Been Paid

Minister of Sports and Recreation Kofi Adams has reiterated that the ministry has paid the Black Queens all monies due to the team.
His comments come in response to claims by members of the team regarding alleged unpaid sums from their campaign at the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Queens are set to face Côte d'Ivoire at 5:00 p.m. today in a 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup playoff game after Ghana missed out on a semifinal place at the 2026 Women's AFCON.
The winner will move closer to securing a place at the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.
