Ofankor Crash: NRSA Warns Motorists Against Speeding and Distractions

The National Road Safety Authority has cautioned motorists against speeding and distractions while driving following the fatal multiple-vehicle crash on the Ofankor-Pokuase stretch.
Senior Planning Manager at the NRSA, Felix Owusu, says investigations into the crash are ongoing, but the extent of damage to the vehicles suggests that speeding may have contributed to the incident.
The crash, which occurred between the Ofankor Barrier and the John Teye enclave, claimed 11 lives and left 13 others injured.
The NRSA is urging motorists to exercise caution and avoid behaviours that could put lives at risk on Ghana's roads.
