Former MASLOC CEO Sedina Tamakloe Attionu is free after the Attorney General withdrew an application seeking to stay the execution of her sentence pending an appeal at the Supreme Court.

Tamakloe was released from prison after the AG discontinued the application, following the Court of Appeal's decision to quash her conviction and 10-year sentence over offences linked to the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC).
