Minister of Health Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has warned newly recruited health professionals to report to their assigned facilities by August 20, 2026, or risk having their appointments terminated.
The warning comes as government steps up efforts to address staffing gaps in the health sector. The Health Ministry says financial clearance has been secured for the recruitment of 8,000 health professionals, with plans to recruit more as additional clearance is secured.
The Minister has urged the newly recruited health workers to report promptly and serve with dedication as government works to strengthen staffing across the health sector.
