Vice President of IMANI Africa, Kofi Bentil, has called for an immediate investigation into the reported presence of Chinese nationals at the Adamus Resources concession following the government's decision to uphold the revocation of the company's mining leases.
Mr Bentil questioned how the individuals gained access to the concession and who authorised their presence there, particularly after the government directed the Minerals Commission to assume administrative control of the mine.
He has called for the identities and credentials of the Chinese nationals to be verified, including claims that they were associated with the World Gold Council.
