Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu has called on the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and the Association of Judges and Magistrates to negotiate an amicable solution to the ongoing dispute over the observance of the legal vacation.
Speaking on Eyewitness News, Kpebu said the matter should be resolved through institutional engagement rather than prolonged public disagreements.
He proposed that lawyers and judges could agree on arrangements that would allow court cases to continue during part of the legal vacation while still giving lawyers time off.
