Three Remanded Over Obuasi SHS Attack and Property Damage

Three persons have been remanded by the Obuasi Circuit Court over an alleged violent attack and unlawful damage at Obuasi Senior High Technical School.
Kwasi Brefo, Appiah Arthur Joseph and Desmond Owusu are facing charges of abetment of crime in connection with causing harm and unlawful damage.
According to the prosecution, the accused persons allegedly aided others, who are currently at large, to assault Abdul Zakari with cutlasses and sticks, causing him harm.
They are also accused of aiding in the destruction of property during the incident.
The three accused persons remain in custody pending the next court sitting, with proceedings adjourned to August 17, 2026.
