NIA to Open Two 24-Hour Prestige Centres in Kumasi This Weekend

The National Identification Authority (NIA) is set to open two 24-hour Prestige Centres in Kumasi this weekend, giving members of the public greater flexibility in accessing NIA services.
The new centres will operate as part of the Authority's broader plan to expand its 24-hour service model across Ghana.
Speaking during a tour of the NIA's first-ever 24-hour Prestige Centre in Accra, Executive Secretary Wisdom Kwaku Deku said the Authority plans to establish more than 20 such centres across the country.
He added that the initiative, being implemented in partnership with private sector operators, is expected to create more than 120 employment opportunities.
The 24-hour Prestige Centres are designed to allow the public to access NIA services at a time that is convenient for them, including outside traditional working hours and on weekends.
