Strait of Hormuz Becomes Leverage in US–Iran Power Struggle

The Strait of Hormuz remains at the centre of a tense dispute between Washington and Tehran. In an interview with Al Jazeera, senior research fellow Abas Aslani said control of the waterway is tied to wider issues of sanctions, war and economic pressure.
