Haruna Iddrisu to Meet GAUA Leadership Over Ongoing Strike

The Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, is expected to meet the leadership of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA) over the association's ongoing strike.
The meeting is expected to take place before the end of the week, as government seeks to engage the administrators and address concerns that have led to the industrial action.
GAUA is protesting what it describes as disparities in Market Premium and related allowances between teaching and non-teaching senior members of public universities.
Speaking to Channel One News, the Education Minister's spokesperson, Hashmin Mohammed, confirmed that the Minister will engage the association's leadership.
