Health Ministry Addresses ARV Shortage Concerns, Says Supplies Are Being Cleared

The Ministry of Health says it is working with relevant institutions to clear antiretroviral medicines (ARVs) currently at the port, following concerns over a purported shortage of the essential medicines.
The Network of Persons Living with HIV in Ghana has raised concerns about the availability of ARVs for people who rely on the medication.
Speaking to Channel One News, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Tony Goodman, said the Ministry is in the process of restocking commodities at the medical stores.
The Ministry says the ongoing efforts are aimed at ensuring the necessary supplies are available and distributed to health facilities.
