Ghanaians for Progress (GHAPRO) says President John Dramani Mahama deserves a third term based on what it describes as his performance in office.

The group, however, says any move to amend Ghana's constitutional provisions on presidential term limits must be subjected to transparent discussions and the due constitutional process.

GHAPRO's position adds to the growing public debate over the possibility of constitutional amendments and the future of presidential term limits in Ghana.
