Trump says threat prompted plane switch

US President Donald Trump confirmed that he switched planes after leaving the NATO Summit in Türkiye last month. Speaking to reporters on Tuesday about the flight swap, Trump said he believed that he was at "greater risk" than those left on the Air Force One he originally boarded.

Trump told reporters the switch was made at the request of the Secret Service and the military. Reuters reported that the move was linked to concerns over a potential Iranian assassination threat.
