Government is implementing an ambitious Big Push Electrification Project to extend electricity to rural and suburban communities across the country that are not connected to the national grid.

The initiative will begin with four regions in its first phase, before being expanded to other parts of the country.

The project is aimed at improving access to electricity for underserved communities and supporting economic and social development in areas that remain without reliable power.
