The Top 100 contestants for The Literacy Challenge 2026 have officially been announced, with the successful students advancing to Level Two of the competition.
Breakfast Daily co-host Dede Davies congratulated the 100 contestants who made the cut while encouraging students who did not qualify this year to keep working hard and try again next year.
The Level Two stage will feature a 100-question general knowledge aptitude test designed to challenge the contestants across a wide range of subjects.
Head of Programmes Production at Channel One TV, Apiorkor Seyiram Ashong-Abbey, says the test will cover:
📚 Science ➗ Mathematics 💻 Technology 💡 Creativity and Innovation 📝 Language and Reasoning 📰 Current Affairs 🌍 Social Studies

As the Top 100 prepare for the next stage, the competition promises another exciting test of knowledge, confidence, critical thinking and academic ability.
