Adu-Boahen Case: Lawyer Responds to Chief Justice’s Rejection of Delay Calls

Lawyer for the accused, Joseph Dindiok Kpemka, has responded to Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie's rejection of calls for the cases involving Kwabena Adu-Boahen and Hanan Abdul-Wahab to be heard after the legal vacation.

The Chief Justice maintained that adjournments are judicial acts and not administrative decisions, pushing back against calls for the cases to be deferred until after the legal vacation.

The response from the defence lawyer adds another layer to the debate over the timing of the proceedings and the administration of justice.
