National Plastic Waste Dialogue: Can Ghana’s EPR Policy Deliver a Sustainable Solution?

Ghana's plastic waste crisis remains a major environmental challenge, raising fresh questions about whether the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) policy can deliver a sustainable solution. At the National Dialogue on Plastic Waste Management, stakeholders examine how the EPR system can be effectively implemented, financed and enforced. At the same time, it ensures producers and importers take greater responsibility for the plastic waste generated by their products.
