Adamus Mine Lease Revocation Upheld, Minerals Commission to Take Control

The Minerals Commission is set to take immediate administrative control of the Adamus Mine at Salman in the Ellembelle District following government's decision to uphold the revocation of Adamus Resources' mining lease.
The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, announced the decision during a working visit to the mine.
The decision follows a report by a Ministerial Review Committee that considered appeals filed by Adamus Resources against the initial assessment of its operations.
According to the Lands Minister, the committee reviewed the concerns raised by the company and affirmed most of the breaches identified in the initial assessment.
Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah subsequently upheld the revocation of the company's mining lease and directed the Minerals Commission to assume administrative control of the mine.
