University Administrators Strike: UG Students React

Some students of the University of Ghana say they are yet to feel the impact of the ongoing strike by the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA).

The association has reactivated its suspended strike over what it describes as disparities in Market Premium and related allowances between teaching and non-teaching senior members of public universities.

Checks by Channel One News indicate that administrative units at selected universities have been affected by the industrial action.

While some students say they have not yet experienced significant disruptions, they are appealing to the relevant authorities to intervene swiftly to prevent the situation from escalating.
