KNUST Raises Concern Over Rising High Blood Pressure Cases in Ghana

The College of Health Sciences at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has raised concerns over the increasing prevalence of high blood pressure among Ghanaians, particularly residents of the Anwomaso community in the Ashanti Region.

According to the College, many people are living with the condition unknowingly.

The concerns highlight the importance of awareness and early detection of high blood pressure, particularly among communities where cases are becoming increasingly prevalent.
