The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bantama Constituency has elected Kingsley Atta as its new constituency chairperson following a re-run election.

Mr. Atta has pledged to work with all party members to strengthen unity and position the NPP for victory in the 2028 elections.

The re-run follows the party's decision on July 15, 2026, to annul the constituency executive elections in Bantama, Afigya Sekyere East and Adansi Asokwa in the Ashanti Region.

The latest election is expected to pave the way for a fresh start for the party's constituency leadership in Bantama.
