Tamale Central Marks First Anniversary of Murtala Mohammed’s Passing

As Ghana marks the first anniversary of the passing of eight public servants who lost their lives in the August 6, 2025 helicopter crash, residents of the Tamale Central Constituency have joined in commemorating the legacy of their late Member of Parliament, Mohammed Ibrahim Murtala.
A special Islamic prayer was held among other activities to honour the late lawmaker and reflect on his contribution to Ghana and the people of Tamale Central.
One year after his passing, constituents continue to remember his service, leadership and impact on the constituency.
