Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has cautioned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against engaging in early debates over who should lead the party in the 2028 presidential election.

Speaking on the issue, the Vice President said the party's immediate priority should be delivering on the promises that secured the trust and support of Ghanaians in the 2024 general election.

She urged NDC members to remain focused on governance, addressing national challenges and fulfilling the mandate given to the party rather than shifting attention to succession politics.
