Following President John Dramani Mahama's latest ministerial reshuffle, questions have emerged over the changes within the Majority Caucus leadership in Parliament.

The new appointments saw Mahama Ayariga, the former Majority Leader, nominated as Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs-designate, while James Agalga, MP for Builsa North, takes over as the new Majority Leader.

Joining Channel One News via phone, Second Deputy Majority Whip and Member of Parliament for Bia East, Richard Acheampong, speaks on the leadership changes and responds to questions on whether the current parliamentary leadership was consulted before the decision was made.
