Mexico, Argentina Back Gianni Infantino as UEFA Opposition Continues

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has received fresh backing from Mexico and Argentina as support for his leadership continues to grow following a turbulent period at world football's governing body.
The support comes amid ongoing tensions with UEFA, which has maintained its opposition to Infantino after his failed proposal to sell a stake in the FIFA World Cup to private investors.
Other football bodies, including Qatar, Kuwait and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), have also expressed support for Infantino.
Mexico's Football Federation said it supports Infantino's leadership in promoting football development through institutional strengthening, while the Argentine Football Association praised what it described as a “profound transformation” of FIFA under his leadership.
