President John Dramani Mahama has assured the families of the eight victims of the August 6, 2025 helicopter crash that the nation continues to stand with them as they mark the first anniversary of the tragedy.
The President gave the assurance at a National Interfaith Memorial Service held in honour of the eight public officials who lost their lives while on official duty.
In his address, President Mahama paid tribute to the victims, describing them as patriotic public servants whose dedication, sacrifice and commitment to Ghana will never be forgotten.
The memorial service brought together government officials, families, religious leaders and dignitaries to remember the lives and contributions of those who passed away.
