NPP Vows Massive Turnout for August 6 Demonstration Despite Memorial Ceremony

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) says it expects a massive turnout for its planned demonstration on Thursday, August 6, over what it describes as selective justice under the John Mahama administration.
The party's National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye, says the demonstration will proceed despite the government's maiden memorial ceremony to honour victims of the August 6 military helicopter crash.
The NPP has maintained that the protest is aimed at raising concerns over issues including justice, governance and democratic accountability.
