Armed man arrested at Trump's golf course

An armed man was arrested at Donald Trump's Los Angeles-area golf course while allegedly monitoring security preparations ahead of a Republican National Committee event.

Authorities say 38-year-old Jeanine John Taele was carrying ammunition, while a search of his vehicle uncovered a loaded 9mm handgun, binoculars and a security badge. Investigators later found additional firearms, ammunition and body armor at his home.

Taele faces multiple felony charges and has pleaded not guilty. He remains in custody and is due in court on August 5.
