Donald Trump says Strait of Hormuz could be opened by Wednesday
Speaking to reporters, U.S. President Donald Trump said negotiations with Iran were moving in a positive direction and that the Strait of Hormuz could reopen on Wednesday or Thursday, August 5–6.
Iran has said it is in talks with Oman - and not the U.S. - to negotiate "an understanding" on a temporary route through the Strait of Hormuz to allow commercial shipping to resume.
